1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and understand that participation in sauna use involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Dehydration

• Dizziness or fainting

• Increased heart rate or blood pressure

• Exposure to high temperatures

• Potential aggravation of existing medical conditions

• Risk of slipping, falling, or injury on wet surfaces

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that I may incur as a result of participating in sauna use, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

 

2. Medical Conditions and Fitness to Participate

I confirm that:

• I am in good health and physically able to use a sauna.

• I do not have any medical conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions, low/high blood pressure, respiratory issues, or pregnancy, that may make sauna use dangerous for me.

• I have consulted a healthcare professional if I have any doubts about my health or ability to use the sauna.

I understand that ELM Sauna UK staff are not medically trained and cannot provide medical advice.

 

3. Personal Responsibility

I agree to:

• Stay hydrated and exit the sauna immediately if I feel unwell.

• Refrain from using the sauna under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that may impair my ability to safely use the facility.

• Use the facilities responsibly, respectfully, and in accordance with all posted safety signs and instructions.

• Supervise any minors under my care at all times.

 

4. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release and hold harmless Sauna UK, its owners, directors, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action that may arise from or relate to my participation in sauna use, including claims for personal injury, illness, property damage, or death.

 

This waiver includes claims arising from negligence, but not from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

 

6. Acknowledgment and Agreement

I have read and understood this waiver. I am signing it voluntarily and acknowledge that by using the facilities of Elm Sauna UK, I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue.
